You need to stretch!

Stretching is one of the most important in parts of running or any strenuous activity. Doing a little bit of stretching before and after a run can be greatly beneficial in preventing injury. Stretching before you run will help loosen up and warm up the muscles to get them ready for your workout. Strething after your run is just as important as before. After your run stretching will help lengthen the muscles that have been wound up during your run.
